The oil has a liquid consistency and a yellow-green colour. The colour comes from the green tissue of the leaves used and therefore has a natural origin, confirmed by the botanical descriptions of the dark green leaf mass. The dark green mass also gives an intense odour with a strong character. The odour unfolds fresh, green and herbal nuances, and research attributes this olfactory characteristic to the monoterpenes that dominate the essential fraction of the species.
